Hey, i got a problem in ET, i cant use more than 40 maxpackets because then i will get 999 ping and its quite hard to play with that ping. Any ideas to help me?

Also, have you ever thought of reïnstalling ET?
You can also try disabling as many background programs as possible while playing ET, maybe that helps it.
Also scan for spyware and virusses :)
