fps dropped from 100 to 20's :|

last night before i went to bed i had 100 fps now i got 20 fps and can't fix it i rebooted about 5times and when i do ctrl + alt + delete it says that my internet has 50% CPU

and it doesn't normally i'm sure so how can i fix it? :(

Seems like you have a dual core pc, let ET use core number 2(not both cores.)

this can be done with a right mouseclick on the ET process, then set affinity.

if this doesnt fix it, just shut down the waol executable(dunno how important this is to you.:))

the waol is my internet :p and when i right click all it says is end process and end process tree and set thingy :p

ps: i dont know shit about the waol process, so i cant help you with the, the duel core thing i suggested should give you more fps in ET, but it ofcourse wouldnt fix the actual problem.

ET doesnt, thats why i'm telling him to only let it use 1 core, the second core, wich is not in use by the waol process.

It's probably your punkbuster, just try putting ET on two cpu's, restart ET, put it on two cpu's again, problem solved

i have a prob since yesterday too..


2 days ago i owned all .. 45 % acc and stuff -.-
yesterday after school 25 % !!! ...i cant hit the enemys anymore...:(

What's waol.exe, takes a 48 cpu? normally System idle takes 99.

Umm, maybe disconnect/reconnect inet? Virus/dl's/etc that affect inet cpu usage checked them? Well I'm not pro, but I most likely solve all my fps prob my own. :P

clean your cpu fan, your gfx card fan etc (best with vacuum cleaner to get all the dust away)...it really helped me and made me get 100-125 fps again.

I kinda fixed the problem i went on a diff account on my pc and just load stuff using other account :d

it hopes so hey ill sticking to it :D
