xbox sucks... get a ps3 with mgs4 next year. assassins creed is not bad but def overrated, bought it last week and yes at the beginning its like "omg, nice" but after some hours its just another 0815 game...
total agree! the stats atm speak another language but thats only because the ps3 got no smash hit. the few good games on the market are also aviable for the 360° an guess what: their looking mostly ident with the ps3 versions...
a huge problem is that the ps3 games are hardly to program or better to different to the other plattforms. so what the ps3 owner gets atm are stupid "mass console games" wich cant show the real power of the ps.

Ps3 is currently dropping in price, which was planned just b4 christmas. Now the price has dropped, it's more attractive for developers to also develop games for the PS3, and spend the needed amount of time on it to be able to get the max out of the PS3, something which hasn't been done before.
Also, Blu-Ray > HDDVD, and a signle blueray player costs you 500 euro, for that money you already have a PS3 with a little less harddisk space.
It's all the same as it was with ps2 n dreamcast n stuff, at the beginning ps2 failed, but later on it kept growing and growing, and watch now, it outsales the xbox360 ;)
we talk about the playstation :P the only 3rd generation console wich you can play with a controller u know since 1995...
about the price - never was to high for what you get but to high for the current console market. now things will change, for just 399€ you got a great console u can use as blueray player, media center, livingroom inet explorer and free online gaming plattform... even linux runs perfect and easy on it...
bought it about a month ago and just can say its awesome, livestream over my pc to all my mediafiles, remote control over my psp (great idea, only playing ps3 games on it dosent work :P) and in the future impressive games like: GT, MGS, DMC and GTA
