ET swapping

my ET has worked fine on my new pc, but today when i started to play it started swapping like hell...like when u join a new server, and u need some time to be it smooth, but for me it keeps swapping.

other games, like crysis cod4 etc are totally smooth ...

won't solve anything, im sorry to say that but pb is just a piece of shit (yes it makes me lag like hell aswell, have to reboot the game 10 times before Et become lagless sometimes)

yep, same happened for me months ago, i had perfect 100 stable FPs and then, somehow evrything went shitty, even with my new Pc i can't get very stable FPS :[

Close ET, kill pnkbstrb.exe from task manager, reconnect. Works for me.

if often happens when your pb files are fragmented, try to delete pb directory and reinstall

try minimizing ET and setting the priority higher, to high for example, via the task manager

works fine (atleast for me) but you'hv to do that once the game really started, means you can lost a few seconds doing that and well .. its not the best way to fix this problem .. even if that works fine

cant you set it so it always runs at a high priority? i was sure you could :\

dunno , maybe with a additional software but if you change the affinity or however its called, in warmup, it gets reseted when the match is live and then get reseted once again when you change map/join warmup @ second round
