cod4 help plx

so i downloaded and installed the 1.2 patch for cod4
but still it says 1.1blablabla in the console ingame and the auto-update button is still there
when i patch it again, it says that i dont need to, because i already have 1.2 installed

so.. whats up?

1.2 is not that big a patch.
Just fixes little things that really dosent matter
