Front usb ports

I cant get em to work :<

everything is plugged in as it should inside the comp,

is the front usb ports different and need some sort of separate install or shld they be with my sp2 like the backports?

check if that cable from those usbs is connected to your mobo

what bungg says, if they aren't in device manager they are broken or not connected the right way

and if they are in device manager with a question mark and you can't get them to work with SP2 installed that are broken :D

if you have several usb controllers... you might have to install your chipset driver. (always a good idea btw)

was thinking the same thing. A lot of people forget this for some reason :)

google: cpuZ
check the exact type of mobo you got and download the chipset drivers

i have several usb controllers... and i have installed chipset driver ;)

Are the single pins connected correctly to your motherboard? (Assuming your front USB ports are care ones)
