DotA = playable?

after cod4 isnt playable anymore and theres absolutely no other game which attracts me (except for all the old dead games).. i wonder if dota is something to go for?

U have to ironsight in almost every duell to hit anything since they increased the spread ALOT, they made snajper overpower again, they removed the perks so u cant wallbang as much as before, they fucked up slajdans sound so he cant hear anything.

well play Clanbase, u will have good reg (antilag forced) and deep impact is on as well as major perks http://clanbase.ggl.com/forum.php?fid=2142942&zid=00FFFE93 and the scene is xbox huge.

CB will probably transfer to PAM mode just like they did in CoD2, and getting any war vs any decent clan without PAM is not realy possible. :-P

actually the problem wasnt PAM (which is just a mod providing competitive tools like readyup etc.), but the rulesets included in it. they just changed the cb ruleset to whats explained in the link. quite cool imo

i should be good for you that you have to use ironsight more.. :s cause when you don't zoom its just spray and pray, when you zoom, you have to use your aim, and since ETplayers have more aim than cod players I don't see your problem

the ironsight is waaay to big, it was alot better in cod2.
and about the aiming, its alot easier to aim with the ironsight ofc but it requires more aim without it.

Without ironsight you have to control your fire to decrease spread, right now it is something like you have to have full zoomin sniper aka 20fov in ET to be able to shoot, not realy pleasant because you will probably be 20fov most of the time. :-\

you can't predict where your bullet will ends without iron sight, so there is a big lucky thing in aiming without iron sight,but when you are aiming with iron sight, you have to hit the enemy's body exactly, otherwise you won't hit him

You can control your spread by bursting etc, there is still a small spread with ironsight and and try to aim at someone spinting or moving fast while you are ironsighting and is at a medium distance, gg antilag then. O_o

hell yeah!
But its quite hard to become a good player there since you can't handle with the koreans they are sick at that game
So if you need a game to become sick at and when im saying sick i mean come to lans and win games and so on then i would try games like CS, BF2 becouse its quite easy to become good in those games.
