blue screen

i always get a blue screen if i start a game.already tried new drivers / old drivers.
what else can i try?

graphiccard: geforce 8600gt

Well , download speedfan or everest home edition and check your fanspeeds

Blue screen could be hardware failure or operating system error/bug

Depends totally on what you want.

If you want a slow running piece of turd with lots of eyecandy and accessories that you will never use in a million years, go for Vista.

If you want your PC running smooth and fast, and don't care too much about the eyecandy or accessories, go for XP. :D

K , you are one of those guys who just saw other guys posting stuff about vista and are now saying it sucks :>

I have used both XP and Vista

And vista boots faster ...

Same FPS in ET anyway , so ....


Btw: XP was always stuck and stuff , vista is more stable at my PC

No, I'm one of the guys that has used Vista AND XP on a lot of different machines and found XP to be faster and better.

Lol , at first few boots Vista is slower yes

Superfetcher makes the applications launch faster over time...

And still Vista is faster on my machine than XP

And more functions + security etc...

So I stick with Vista

I'm sure a lot machines are faster with XP

Mostly because a lack of RAM or Single Core Processor

And yes , XP uses less resources , but that doesnt make it faster ;o

blue screen could mean anything, google for the error message

there should appear a failure code as last on the bluescreen(smthing starting with lots of zeros)
take it and use google!
