cable, i hate my 999's
cable is usually a bit faster (you shouldn't see it in the ping if you have even a decently set up wlan), but cable is most of all stable, at least so much less things that can be messed up (other than the cable being tied up, your dog eating it, like mine did...), but ofcourse wlan is "kewl", and if you have a laptop, it is really nice with that... If you decide to go for wlan, make sure its secured properly (at least WEP 128 and don't broadcast it...)

Of course cable. As long you are able to get an internet connection with a cable - do it! The best is a mix. Just plug in the cable in ur wlan router and u can use it like "normal". And if you want to use ur laptop then use the wlan. Ah I am too lazy to explain it, I hope you know what I mean.

cable for gaming, wlan for the rest
