Just wait for the final version.. they say it has a performance-boost of 10% on xml and office applications, so if you use that alot then imo go for it, couldn't do that much damage :}.

booting speed increased and everything is nice.
if u google "sp3 performance boost" then u will see a test what shows that sp3 is about 10% faster than SP2 in officemark . that means everthing connected to hdd and its duty is faster :)
I tried SP1 RC for vista and it was stuck at fase 3 99%
