invisible lagometer????

for some reason the lagometer didnt pop-up after i added /cg_lagometer 1 to my cfg ... when i was watching ettv with shownormals on i noticed that my lagometer WAS on, but it was just invisible :S does anyone know how i can fix it?

btw i also have the same problem with my map...
i have "" bind G "+mapexpand" but my map doesnt pop up...
do you also know what command is responsible for that? :P

edit: it was indeed on 0

0 makes it invisible, and the nearer the number gets to 1, the more visible it gets.
