ipoker

I'm quitting all ipoker games, so sick of losing money on those premade hands ... Strongest hands always getting outlamed like it's normal, random all ins leading to success .... I just don't trust it anymore

Yeah, it happens. I lost my nerves to it few days ago, bashed some people at the chat. Today I noticed this:

how can you trust ipoker? i would not even fully trust those casinos
every betting game = meant to be played false @
I wanna BET they do that too
hehe

real life poker > all

ierjust weer dikke winst gehad :)
ipoker? well in my opinion, skill there is maybe lowest of all, so downswings aren't that big surprises. but if you can't win there in long run, you're the fish !
Hmmmz skill level depends on your stakes, not on the poker program, and you really should see some of my bad beats that just keep coming .... 1 example (and the one that made me broke)

i have QQ in dealer position, I raise, only the bigblind calls.

flop: 5 Q K

the big blind raises, I reraise, he moves all in, I make the call with a big smile on my face

guess what he had ... KK cya @ $42

QQ vs KK is hardly a bad beat.... wtf
Parent
agreed. maybe if he only had 1 K and a 3rd came on the river, then that would of been a bad beat.
Parent
no, then i would have had a fullhouse ....
Parent
he had better cards, i wouldnt call that a bad beat..
Parent
agreed on his cards, but what are the chances .... every poker player would have made the call .... having a monster hand and still getting beat like this is a bad beat imo
Parent
No, a bad beat is a beat which you didn't deserve. Losing AA against 5-4 offsuit. In this scenario who knew there were better hands ) such as KK or AA ) and although the chance wasn´t very high someone would have that hand, there is still a chance. So, sometimes you loose with a good hand, while someone else has a monsterhand. Its poker, so if you feel this as injustice, poker is not the game for you.

NOT a bad beat

You need to explain the basics of poker to me mister, I've been playing this game for quiet a long time now, read books about it and watched many many tv episodes .... but the meaning bad beat means more to me than just getting raped with the better hand preflop.

I know his kings were a way better hand than my queens preflop, but what on earth are the chances we both flop a set ... like it or not; I CALL IT A BAD BEAT
Parent
I strongly disagree. Myself, I've played plo50, plo100, plo200 (pot limit omaha whoever doesn't know) and the skill level at ipoker is the lowest with partypoker. I started to make a bit bigger winnings after moved to ipoker from full tilt. It might be also, that ppl still can't play omaha properly compared to holdem.

And like said above, that's not a bad beat, its just very, very unlucky situation where you just can't do anything. Happens, not too often, though. Percentage to set over set for opponent was maybe 1% in holdem if I remember correctly. (100 times you make a set at flop, once your opponent is holding bigger set)

Don't use your all money in the one table :P

I was my last money after dropping from a few hundred bucks .... and I dont know too much about omaha games, too much action for me ;P
Parent
its not rigged... it is completely randomized, it acts just like a deck of cards. Bad beats happen even to the best :(
Just use poker clients that have the certified random number generators and you will be fine.
Just fuck off with this pokershit.
