bck from boerenrock (and clbu lololol)

went to some bar/club at leuven, had some duvel which didnt taste like it woud actually be 8.5% and then we went to ze boerenrock. I had no idea where I was, it was like some old factory house full of people, music, disco lights and beer desks. was nice n stuff. i feel bit hangoverish, its kinda cold and my hands are shaking a bit but nothing more serius. happy christmas and cu at some "x-mas party" on tuesday, I dont know where it is but ive been told that there will be lots of people around 16-24 years old, soundz n1.

ps. this wireless keyboard doesnt register every key input and cba to fix all the words :c

btw what other beers do u suggest, besides duvel?

ofc they were around 16-24...leuven is filled with students but it's weekend so it's normaly pretty empty, u should go on a thursday, then it's filled but they should start studying so it'll be pretty deserted the next month

i think lido is the place u went...did u have to go on a very steep stairway? through a very small corridor and then u could see the party on ur right side

no it wasnt in leuven, we drove maybe 30 minutes or something. I got this bracelet or something from the place, it says bovin beton & natuursteen :D boerenrock kortenaken

at thursdays there's also a Student Stelle Night here in Hasselt (like 30mins with the train from Leuven), at www.Versuz.be ! free entrance + 1€ /beer

its open every monday (20for men/18 women)
thursday (18for men/17 women)
& saturday (18for men/17 women)
and on special occasions like chrysostomos etc (usually on fridays)

the bar i went to esterday in leuven had some dj doing remixes in a row, at one point they had some techno remix of rhcp's song "by the way" "to see the show tonight.." :XD that was quite awesome.

Hoegaarden is a very nice beer, at least the wheat version is anyway. Stay away from the fruit version (white) as it tastes like the underside of a penguins genitalia.

I almost forgot one of my favorites as well!

Chimay BLue or Chimay Red are beautiful beers! The difference between the two is the alcohol content, which is only like 1%-1.5%. Personally, I prefer the blue!

On that I've "discovered" over the X-Mas period has been Grimbergen. A nice winter beer, although it isn't a special X-Mas one.
