Packets => Bytes

ever since i got this new laptop it shows my datatraffic in windows in packets instead of bytes (like my old laptop).

like this:

image: pakkettenrc4

is it software-related?
is it network-card-dependant?

how can i fix it?

do u care?

daarboven staat tog mbps, is dat het niet?
yes, it's easier to check how much up and down traffic you have when it's in bytes

edit: neen dat is de maximale snelheid van mijn lijn

i think it's still in bytes tbh
nope. this was after downloading stuff for a couple hundred MBs

I assume you want to know this due to some ISP download-limit? I never look at it. Doesn't your ISP have some page you can login to to see how much you've downloaded?
yes that is why i want to see it.

and yes, there is such a thing to check the download online, but afaik it only shows the previous days and not what you have downloaded this day.
and ofcourse, when i'm not connected to my home internet (dorm, school,..) i can't check it.

Do you have telenet? Than it does show what you downloaded this day.

If you have belgacom than you can't check it :<

i have telenet.

i didn't know that!

anyway, it doesn't solve my problem!

het toont al jou dataverkeer vanzodra je windows opstart , niet van je hele dag als je meerdere keren opstart
daar zit niet alleen je downloads in maar ook je netwerkverkeer
download gewoon telemeter?

i thought it always shows packets.

in theory, 1 packet = 1.5 KB, your mileage may vary.
packet size can be different at different connection type
