ok just got a 22" lcd screen for pc, what r_displayrefresh should i have for ET?

I bet you all want a 22" one dont u :)

your monitor will handle only 60Hz @ 1680x1050, so practically to get smoothness in games u need fps 2x times of your frequency or more(120, 180, 240fps etc). In lower resolutions you may experience some interpolation (dependant on display model/manufacturer), but your monitor will easly hold 75Hz, which will give you perceptible advantage over 60Hz in smoothness, for instance @ 1440x900@75Hz.

Highest refreshrate with tft/lcd-screen is 75hz.. (with any resolution afaik). Just buy CRT

I'm getting 22 LCD also next week(just ordered it) after my 19 crt IIyama Pro 454 died on me(rip :/).

I know 125fps @ 120hz is smooth as hell, is it possible to get the same smoothness with an 22 iiyama ProLite E2201W LCD in ET ?

What's the best settings?

r_displayrefresh ?
r_mode -1 ?
com_maxfps ?
vSync or no vSync ?

You cant get more than 75hz so forgot the smoothness. :D

Use DVI cable and then u have just @60Hz...it is enough;)
