Dude, this place is boiling.. I was just going to the korogocho slum, passing through the nairobi city centre to do some small shopping. When I was exiting the supermarket, people were running so i went back inside and the supermarket doors closed. Later on, i still proceeded to go to the slum. But the road to get there was closed because of riots, people were throwing quite big rocks etc.. Another guy i went with called someone in the slum, and he said it was a very bad idea to go there now.. So we went back again, through the city centre, with a lot of detours to avoid trouble. Armed police and forces all over town.
I also heard there has been shooting in Kibera(another, HUGE slum), check this..
EDIT: They're showing "evidence" of poll cheating on TV now, which is a hot topic since the election is VERY close. I dunno if this evidence is real though, but real enough for people to fight about...
