no. with a micro fiber cloth, put some water on the cloth and then just erase the pad -,-

Umm, well I've got it for quite a long while now, over a year. I usually throw it in the washing machine when it gets dirty, but it has some really nasty spots on it atm from Campzone 2006 mud that I can't get off :(

But I also play WoW.

I have one for about 1 year and 1 month now, never washed it, it's fucking dirty, but still smooth

some advices:
1) dont break it
2) dont eat on it
3) dont wank on it
4) dont hold anything, except your mouse & hand, on it :)
5) if it's dirty then erase it with a micro fiber cloth[(put some water on it) you can buy these from normal shops for some euros or smth]
6) use it like you wished it would use you :)
7) love it
8) sleep with it

...AND IT IS STILL NEW AFTER 1 YEAR!

micro fiber pls :/ just rubbish it very good with water and then dry it with a 'hairdryer' :D that's what I do
