HELP!!!!!!!!!! virusexperts, look here..

Hi. My gf`s father managed to download something really nasty that i cant get away...

He dont know what he did.. (though i suggest prOn), but this is what have happend:

The desktop background changed to a huge red picture, with the text: Download privacy protector now.
Whatever picture they changed it to, it allways ended up with the same picture.

I found out to remove this by doing something in the setup, which had an activation on some website i removed.

on the desktop, there are 3 icons that has been created, and which allways comes back after reboot, even if they are deleted first. the icons name is: Error cleaner, Privacy protector and Spyware&Malware protection.

They are all refered to a page , im not gonna write entire link since i dont want people to click it, but the name is viruswebprotect dot com.. DONT GO THERE IMO!!!

the startpage for explorer is set to another site, which i dont wanna write, cause i dont want the nubs here to click it=) But it is ucleaner dot com.

and there are popups all the time about infections on the computer and that u need to scan it etc etc.. "click here" messages...

sometimes im allso ending up at a site called ... yet again, i would not go there if i were you... pcsecuresystem dot com.

The reason im giving you the adresse info of the sites, is cause i hope someone have heard of the same sites from earlier problems.. etc.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

we have done a complete norton antivirus search, without any luck.. and there is nothing more i can think of to do then to ask you here at crossfire=)

I appreciate all the help i can get. thanx guys!

Virus stories always remind me this one :

And by the way don't worry, I deleted this mac theme a long time ago.

Oh and also to help a little, google is really helpful (this is not a sarcasm or w/e), I mean just type precisely specific messages/backgrounds/url caused by the virus and you should find some forums, often with solution :)
