whats the best way to get settings close to my crt ones on a widescreen tft


crt settings:

100hz
125fps
1024x768
sensitivity 4
fov 110

tft settings:
75hz
???
???
???

fov @ widescreen, its different :) for example 100 @ widescreen is 90 @ normal

why not put com_maxfps on 76, 125 makes no difference on a 75hz screen.

I would choose an fps as close to your hz as possible so basically use 76 or 71 for less recoil, then use a maxpackets similar to your fps (you're not gonna send more packets anyway). On a widescreen resolution you need a different fov than on a 4:3 resolution, but i lost the site which told me which resolution to use on that reso when you have 110 on default

You can also just use your crt settings except for the hz. Keep everything the same

I play on a TFT (1400x900, 75hz), but play windowed with 1024x768, surely that would make it redundant?

I use 76 packets and fps, capped. Surely playing in a window eliminates the 'problem'?
