Mx518 Problem...

My mouse is fucked up again 2nd time now and again the same shit....sometimes it doesnt react and i have to insert it again and again to make it work ... have this problem every 15 minutes and its fucking annoying.. what can i do ??? Buy a new one again? :(´

All tips given before this are useless, you just have a faulty mouse, I'm on my 3rd mx518 at the moment.

Weird thing is, the problem only shows up after like 2/3 months. I just make a ticket @ logitech RMA and get it replaced again.

And the mouse I have atm is doing it again too. It just goes totally dead, then goes on again with the known usb plugin sound. Or sometimes it just stays dead untill I replug it and then it might work for a whole of 15 minutes!

it doesnt do that after 2/3 months.. im using it for atleast 12 months.. no problems at all

i made sure i got a garuntee on my mx518 when i used it..i had a slight problem with usb>mx518..just change usb port it usually works

Mouse is fucked up, I had the same problem, the only option is to buy a new one or if you have warranty (should be 2 or 3 years for mx518) you can give it to them and they will probably give you a new mx518.

stay to this mouse, seriously try to search for sharp corners where the wire going through and the problem should be solved ( mine worked for 22 month after a lanparty @ random desk it broke )
