lol i had an accident a couple of years ago where my thumb got completely fucked up
i got half my thumb amputated and replaced with a piece of my toe...got the same scar on my foot like that dude has, however, my thumb still looks like a thumb...half of my thumb meaning it was amputated vertically (long story)
and trust me, thumbs are NOT useless

I'd rather have it replaced by some cool laser shooting machine thing that eventually can be turned into a chainsaw or a bottle opener. But a toe would be fine too.
