Yea but I have never heard that someone would have brighter screen with hwgamma 1..

hwgamma = ignores the hardware gama settings of the gfx(or something :P) and makes it a bit dark, so he should not touch it if its at 0 ;)

no needs to make cfg brighter... there is a program called gamma control if im corect... using it u may adjust your brightness
