Ôy Folks!
I've just returned from D:\Lost in Translation\ watching "Lost in Translation" and I suddenly felt the need to watch some Japan-based movie that somehow shows what life is like there. So now I demand you to give me some names of movie you'd recommend me to watch or that are fitting my description. It shouldn't be some sort of graphic splatter/horror movie, I prefer it quiet tbh. It may even be some sort of documentation or something similar. I heard Babel has some shots of Japan and as soon as my Rapidshare Account gets activated I'll be having that in HD.

I just watched the trailer and it looked... aweful :D

It doesn't have to be precisely about the life, jsut give some slight impressions of the culture, basically just what LiT did.

Japanese films would be your best bet. I have some in my download que right now but most of them are 5+ years old and take quite some time to find and im not even talking about people actually seeding it or of it has any(/good) subs yet.

Overall Im more a fan of Korean/HK/chinese movies but maybe I haven't watched enough yet.
