lol i was listening to trance almost before you were born, since 1989. I worked as a trance dj in germany for 5 years. This however is vocal trance. I called it dance for the genre so no metal heads listened to it expecting something different!

Ofcourse this is vocal trance, I'm just saying this ain't dance. And the fact that you were listening to trance since 1989 is 1) irrelevant and 2) bullshit cos trance didn't exist back then. Perhaps a form of trance, pre-trance or something we shall call it in this discussion, but not trance as we now it these days.

Nice boasting, getting a hard one from that or something? :x

EDiT: and if you seriously are listening to "trance" since 1989 you should definitely start developping some taste for good Trance. I'm not saying Anthem is bad, but you're posting this 6 months after everybody was spinning this and the whole scene got sick of this tune...
Same as with Beautitude, Falling to Pieces, Big Sky etc. Totally fucked up cos every dj spins it.

Wow talk about an inferiority complex. Mine was a light hearted non derogatory reply to a cocky post where you tried to make yourself look clever. Trying to make out i didn't know what i was talking about, possibly to increase the size of your e-penis. It was a vain attempt to people to say "look i do know what i am on about" by naming a few tunes here and there. If you took the time to listen to old trance you will hear most of todays songs are sampling it. So its evolved and been re-used, talking about todays trance the way you do is laughable! The point you made about taste made me laugh also. Taste is exactly what it is, your own. Each person is different, no two people like exactly the same stuff. This is what makes us individual. There are no laws to follow in music you like what you like. Not what a crowd of others tell you to like, or tell you whats cool.

Just for your info, good tunes cant be overplayed to the people who like them they give joy on every play. Good tunes appear in all the great sets from the greatest dj's. The point i am trying to make is do not go on what a scene says. Make your own judgment, then if it is only you who thinks it you can stand by it knowing its 100% truth.

Whahaha, you really do take internet way too serious.

I say Anthem is overrated and overplayed, trance didn't exist in 1989 and you have a problem. That's my opinion.

Oh, and I didn't try to look smart. I don't see the point of that on an internet-based community.
