sound/mic issues

my sound/mic doesnt work through the pink/green inputs from the onboard @ motherboard

works through usb though...

ideas please?!

cant, brother hates me using his headset and i cba to buy new one xd mines only got pink and green thing :<

green is output, pink is input.

is the onboard soundcard switched on in the bios?
do you have proper drivers installed?

yeh i think 2 channel output is broken on the green, it works when i set it to 4 channel and plug it into the grey one xd

Update Onboard Sound drivers, make sure it's enabled in BIOS.

Or just buy a separate sound card. :P
