I hate windows >_>

Just installing Windoze on an old HDD so I can install some more games, and play ET with a working vent <3
But installation takes a fucking lightyear, and then when it's complete, you have like 200+ updates waiting for you, but only then, after your 10th reboot can you start installing your own programs.

Gotta love Microsoft

lightyear is the distance a 'particule of photon' (dunno in english ) do in one year, so its a matter of distance not time

edit: lightspeed is the relation with the time

only have winXP sp2 installed and drivers cpu/vga/sound no virusscanner just ccleaner and pc works fine :D

I use sygate personal firewall (spf), it's been kinda good. And I don't have virus program at all, because the firewall owns :). Just if I suspect something, I install virus prog (prolly antivir) and after cleaning the PC I uninstall it again. This has happened once when I stupidly opened some files that I shouldn't have xd

^lol afaik antivirus should be always installed if u download from internet.
I use windows firewall, tryed outpost before too, but he asks to much every time if u try to open or download any kind of files.

nah, u don't need virus program if u know what u are downloading :p
and a good firewall protects the PC otherwise. I have used this solution for 2 years now and haven't really had any viruses or anything else

afaik windows firewall is good, i never had any problems with it

That's why I use Linux normally, but I've got a networkdrive with the xp sp 2 installation on it wich is updating when there are updates. So when there is an update, it will update auto. when I'm not using my pc or laptop :')

Get nlite, tweak till you die, burn & format.

Format takes you less than 10 mins + 2 to 5 mins to install drivers and shit, so let's say 15 mins max?

Btw, can someone beat my "9 formats in 2 hours record?" :P

Gotta just say "EVO" I have updatet windows so when I install updates are already ready.

Never had trouble with that.
