overclocked

Sunday i got a mail that my MSI 8800gt OC card, will take longer. They said at the moment of ordering, 14 days, but now its 21-28 days. I already replaced my gfx card with a XFX Extreme 8800gt. It has the same speed, 1900 mhz. I have a choice, i could wait for 2/3 weeks, or i could get a other GFX card, the XpertVision GeForce 8800GT,512MB, GDDR3, PCI Express x16. The clockspeed of this card is 1800mhz. This card is avi @ 11 jan, my birthday:D
Does that 100 mhz really matter? Someone got experiences with XpertVision?

i've been waiting on my 8800gt for 9 days now :< They also said 14 days. But they haven't even replied to my email asking for an estimate on when it would get delivered :< BASTARDS

change it for ATI HD3870 that card is cheaper and most ppl dont have any problem to get it.

the cards are all the same. Doesnt mean shit. Only software/games/cooling is other. And you can easily get him 100mhz higher...

Just take the cheapest brand.

the graphic chip is the most important... u can also overclock the card yourself. And as said, maybe the expensive card has better cooler, but u can change that later if needed (they aren't that expensive anyway)

It looks to me that the cooler of the Xpertvision is better because its dual slot?

Well, dualslot needs 2 pci slots (which might be a bad thing if u are running out of pci slots :p). It doesn't really tell about the quality of the cooler..

Usually single slot coolers need more technology and are therefore more expensive

die 100 mhz boeien niet, het gaat meer om het 'merk' waar je het van koopt en eerlijk gezegt staat XFX wel boven aan als het gaat om nvidia (tenminste dat was lange tijd zo, ik heb het nu een tijdje niet meer gevolgd). Xpertvision daarentegen is kompleet onbekent (voor mij) dus ik zou eerder gaan voor de XFX maar goed, 2/3 weken wachten is ook verlept.

Wat maakt het merk uit dan. Het enige verschil dat ik zie tussen al die merken zijn de garantie en de kloksnelheden. Voor zover ik gelezen heb, zijn het allemaal de zelfde kaarten, maar dat het verschil gemaakt wordt doordat sommige merken er meer extras bij doen of garantie oid.
En ik wil die pc eigenlijk ongeveer met mn verjaaardag hebben:<

ja je moet het zelf weten, wat ik altijd hoorde is dat er tussen merken kwalitatief ook best grote verschillen kunnen zitten maar mss is dat in dit geval wel niet zo duidelijk dan...
