more vista probs

couple more vista probs. no need to tell me i need to get rid of vista, im getting my mates xp cd on sat. but until then i got 2 probs:

1. low fps
2. i cant talk on vent when im in-game. it doesnt even make the hit to talk sound.

any help is much appreciated.

1 read tutorial about playing it with win xp sp2 or somthing, and 2 dont use press to talk but the voice activate that will work

1: disable aero interface, disable windows search service.
2: use voice activation, that works here. havent tried push to talk yet so might just not work.

ask vagen(if its your main ventrilo srv seen u there a few times ^_^) if he can switch to 3.0

i had this problem last night with ventrilo and i got it to work, its very simple.

Go to your desktop, right click on Ventrilo shortcut, got to properties, then click the compatibility tab then at the bottom you will see 'Privilage level' tick that box 'run programn as admistrator' then click apply, this should work. GL
