Just found a rtcw copy at the local shop!
What mods (versions), maps etc do i need to play online?
Can i use my et cfg?

Can I run both versions at the same time? Or is it like with 2.55 and 2.60b?

You can run 1.4 and 1.41 versions (with 1.41 patch). Else you need different installations with different patches, but AFAIK there are no more servers with <1.4 version patches.

i bought rtcw+et+wolf3D-pack (GOTY) with all necessary patches 2 years ago.

and back then it was only 12€
