Well yesterday i had a pc issue cause i used to have 125 fps then all of a sudden i had 1 fps till 80 fps max.
So first problem i had was that et won't start up when i had r_mode 8 (i always used it)
then the FPS issue.
Now i have formated my pc and back to 125 FPS but still the ET won't work on r_mode 8
can someone help me out here?
And if possible the ??? X ??? pixels that are used for r_mode 8
Atm on r_mode 6. 1440x900 pixels

r_mode 8 = 1280x1024
and check r_customaspect, r_customheight and r_customwidth.
post config
r_mode 8 = 1280x1024
and check r_customaspect, r_customheight and r_customwidth.
cause 1280x1024 and r_mode 8 still ain't working
edit he always gives this on r_mode 8
LW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem
on r_mode 6 it works the game but seems weird tbh
seta r_customwidth "1280"
seta r_customheight "1024"
And try another cfg first, before your search further
je hebt widescreen, dan moet je customheight en width zetten denk ik
r_mode 8 zijn andere verhoudingen
Monitor is Syncmaster931BW
seta r_customwidth "1440"
seta r_customheight "900"
seta r_customaspect "1"
use this to find a correct fov setting
contrast ratio 2000:1 (DC)
max. resolutie 1440 x 900
how can i calculate it?
i'm always using 90 FOV
So original aspect ratio is 5:4 (1280x1024), new aspect ratio is 16:10, you put 90 in Default FOV box and voilla, your new fov is, or at least should be, 75.9917233308. brb, laughing :D What was the previous resolution you were using? Was it really r_mode 8? :P
now i have 1440x900
get latest gfx card drivers
Thats happening because you are trying to run @ a resolution your monitor cant use.
