r_gamma issue

Hello xfire m8s! My first journal after a very very long time :).
I reinstalled et and now there is a problem that I don't think I had before. If I window -> fullscreen back the game the gamma gets really fucked up and I recieve an error stating:
"SetDeviceGammaRamp failed."

The system runs Vista Business Edition. Any help would be appreciated :).
