I've been doing literally nothing but watch movies for the last two days; but for movies currently out in the cinema (Camden Odeon looks really small by the amount of movies on offer), I'd go for Sweeney Todd purely for Johny Depp!

Cloverfield, 1/02/2008

yeah but given the company, not necessarily the best choice. its so viral that film as well

Orwell is legendary.
Parent
Reading Road to Wigan Pier at the moment.
Parent
I've only read Animal Farm and 1984, and a few assorted essays.

I just started Vikram Seth's "A Suitable Boy", 1500 pages so it should take me a while to get through.

That seems obscenely long. I've a huge reading list so I generally don't get to read much of my own choices but I'm getting through the following at the moment.

A.A. Gill - Table Talk (my choice)
Steven Pinker - The Language Instinct
Pat Barker - Union Street
Horatio Alger - Ragged Dick
George Orwell - Road to Wigan Pier (not my choice, but it's enjoyable)

Just finished The Secret Rapture (David Hare), and Legend (David Gemmel). Hopefully re-read Brave New World soon as well.
