DiamondBack vs. MX518

Yo. I sold my Logitech G5, and i want to buy a new mouse. I've got 45€ for a new one. The question is which one, mx518 or diamondback?! I had razer too before.
I can't choose :<
Help me plz :)

I have a DiamondBack and i just can say i love this mouse. And if you like smaller mice it's a good choice ;)

mx518 is the best choice
i've heard a lot of stories of razers failing on people, but my trusty mx518 has never failed me for the past 2 years :)

Yup, i know. My Razer Copperhead dead after 3 months. After that i bought this G5 which dead after 1 year. But my dad fixed it :D

the old were opticale and the new 3g are"infrarood" (dunno the english word) sensors

3G IS Optical, it's the 3rd Generation of optical though, normal DB is 2nd Gen. :P

3G has better tracking etc etc.

amugy szinte 0 a különbség a két egér között... Logitech megbizhatóbb, ennyi. kevesebbszer megy tönkre. bár ugy hallottam a prok földhöz basszák kikapáskor.

db and mx518 are same optical engine so u should take the one wich fits ur hand the best, db is more finger-aim

keep logitech if you have big hands or have been palying with it for ages.

I have pretty small hands and play with low sens. The small and light diamondback perfectly suits my (25 acc) playstyle.

I've got epic hands so everything was okay with the G5's shape. But i didn't like the laser in it. and i can't remember catch of my old razer :)

diamondback (you can repair the broken cord quite easily)

In fact: same NetherlandsSensor but different shapes. Depends on the size of your hand.

I can just say MX510 dies @ 500hz (450) pretty fast, don't know what would be @ 1000hz. Also don't know the difference between MX510 and MX518 in this question, finally there is a very big difference between 125 and 1000 hz in this game...

Would be happy if somebody could advise a mouse planned purposely for 1000 hz!

the 12-bit datapath of the mx510 will never be able to handle more than 450Hz, 1000Hz won't force this mouse any higher, since the datapath is the limit! The mice on purpose for 1000Hz: habu, g5, deathadder, diamondback, lachesis, g9. The mx300 and mx500 will do 1000Hz stable aswell, but are 125Hz by default. :}

Well, just made a quick search, found these...thanks for your help btw
Also for me it seems MX510 can't be used on 450 Hz, because one already died, and now this one has burnt smell too, so I think its days are numbered. :)

I'm sorry to tell you guys the truth, but in the end razer always fails.. it doesn't only break once a week, but if you want alot of firmware bugs, cheap drivers and negative acceleration be my guest!

Both are good, maybe Logitech has slightly better quality, but take which suits you the best.More than half of this people are saying mx518/db just because they have mx518/db, but they never tested the 2nd mouse...you wont go wrong with any of them

Depends on your personal preference.

I had a DiamondBack for six months or so, and after switching back to MX500, I realized how shitty the DB had been for me.
