Download limit

I've got about 1GB left until I go over my limit with my ISP for peak hours.
How much roughly would I be using for browsing the internet (excluding shit like google videos/youtube where I'd be streaming stuff)

Don't fancy going over the limit and paying an extra £15 :{
Also, if I leave my router idling (no browser or download progs open) it wouldn't add to my counter eh?

1GB still is quite a lot for just browsing some sites. Just keep avoiding streaming and you'll be fine.
When do these peak hours stop?

Off peak is 10PM til 8AM

if you surf non stop for one month maybe you got 2 gig or smth :/ i dno surfing uses 1/100000000 of what gaming uses

playing is maybe 5kb/s
i think if you game for two hours straight you get maybe 500mb?

edit: what's your limit? mine's 30 but most in .be have 10 or 12 :<

Peak means using the internet between 8AM and 10PM. Off peak is 10PM until 8AM the following day.

Because of my rather nice download speeds (800KB/s) I went a bit crazy on box sets, and of course, I then upload them back so it's quite a bit :{

piek en dal tarieven. peak = the busy hours, non-peak = the non-busy hours (night etc)

They don't have unlimited downloads for my provider, only excellent support, fast downloads etc

Depending where I download from (excluding public torrents here) I get between 500 and 800KB/s which is the best I've had since I've been getting since I had ze interwebz
