just got busted in diablo2 while using maphack. our cd-keys are banned and our accs are closed.

u just need to learn some basic schemantics of the important levels and u can do fine without mh :)
Nah, but rly.... when I played 1.09 on a professional level, nearly EVERYONE used a maphack... And even now everyone is using it.... + it became even more worse with baal bots and stuff.
Ofc it`s not impossible to play w/o maphack, but in my opinion u can simply safe ~80 % of your time with it.
Anyway, shit happens... at least I`m still not busted in ET. :P
I've been a very fast tele sorc for many baal parties... and it needs even some skill without mh! With mh, it would be too easy and boring :)
dupeing was fucking easy
bugging stuff was standart stuff

u could saw the attribbuts @ unid items
and much more..
the only real hacker thingy in 1.10 / 1.11 was the hack where u could make your fcr/ias/fhr,.... to maximum possible value a item could get (i guess 107/120).
And in 1.09 there haven´t been so many nerds..
when we (sanda/spires/matias/ufoleet/kiitos/nils/me) started an party @1.11 we were like 2 whole days playing only.. and still we weren´t at the top of the ladder. Spirea and Sanda tryed to level one char together (if i remember right) and stil lweren´t possible to reach smth better than place 8 i guess. There must been fuckingn nerds who played 24/7 or many guys with one char :P
About the shematics:
and meppel u just need to follow the right side.. just hold right all the time and u will come to the entrance (i guess there was only one level where the entrance was in the middle).
And at baal it was mostly the right way too.
