pagan metal bands

im in a really pagan/viking metal loving mood right now (!). so does anyone know any decent bands that sound similar to this (for example). (Himinbjørg - Europa (2005) - Daily Desillusions)?

I'd love to post a hate comment, but you asked not to.
I usually don't listen to such stuff but early Unleashed is death metal kept in kinda viking athmosphere and it fucking owns, try it :) Especially "Across The Open Sea" album.
i have all of unleashed but thx anyways :)

Hehe good for you then, I just realised you don't want only viking but pagan too so try some Skyforger, Falkenbach or Nepauz-Had
Parent
ive never heard of nepauz-had :o). are they any good?
Parent
Polish technical pagan/black, quite unknown but good stuff.
Parent
lol what a combo.
Got any links to some stuff I could listen/download?
Parent
Well myspace profile only, but I've heard their older stuff and it's more pagan than stuff they put on myspace. But this thingy is nice too imo. Very Naglfarish and I like this kind of music ofc if no one uses too much synthesizer.

http://www.myspace.com/nepauzhad

if you like Naglfar it should suit you tbh

No Ensiferum? :{ my fav band :D

Moonsorrow!! Ragnarok, Kromlek.
I'll try think of more in a bit that's not already mentioned :>

Also, I'd recommend Tim Severin's Viking trilogy books, mostly based on Viking sagas/old Norse mythology, but with added tales, people stories to make it more interesting to read o/
Parent
lol forgot about moonsorrow/ensiferum xd, thx!
