i3D.net CoD4 Eurocup cancelled!

Some time ago various newsposts covering the i3D.net CoD4 EUROCUP were posted here on crossfire. Though, the cup admins have announced to cancel the cup and probably restart it because of various reasons.

It's a pretty retarded cup tbh, first they moan to contact all your opponents and once you've done so they restart their cup and go el cheapo and ditch half of the prizes.

Thats what many people say. I myself have to admit that the group stage was a real joke and I didn't take it serious anymore after I had discovered the inactive clans.

As far as I'm concerned about the prizes.. It aint attractive for sponsors I guess?

Then don't start a cup, first they let any team in regardless of their background, which forces them to expand their cup for no good reason.
Their findings after 2months were already visible after 2weeks of playing, it was quite predictable really if you let teams in that have 1player on their account.

ps: aren't i3D the sponsors of the cup?

They are the sponsors yes, but once you dont get any profit out of hosting a cup, prices of course reduce since that would be a waste of money.

Maybe that's what clans get for not paying attention, and the clans which did pay attention and did play all their matches suffer. But that's always the case isn't it.
