yeah, but he should be able to double the price of that hd201, get something better. I'd assume even the PC151 and PC161 from Sennheiser is way better.
I myself use Beyerdynamics dt234 and they beat the shit out of PC161.
Perhaps a tad bit more expensive than Sennheisers, at least here in Norway, but I'd recommend them over PC161 any day.
PC 161 is about 75 euro while the Beyer's are 90-95 euro as far as I remember.
They don't look as fancy as the Sennheisers though, so I guess some teens will go for the "cooler" look :P
I got it 2 days ago and I like it, it's lightweight, circumaural, sound is satisfying for it's price, bass is maybe a bit insufficient but that can be solved by sound drivers, mid and high tones are good, all in all a very nice headset
only downside is that it's kinda quiet, you need to turn up your sound quite a lot to get the best out of it, but I must admit it's starting to sound better and better after some burn-in
I got custom drivers so I doubt it would help you, just play around with settings in your sound card drivers and you'll get it there, it doesn't need much fiddling with it
that headset is like 30 euro's .. that means that you have to work 30 hours to get that headset.. do you rly want to spend so much money for a headset?
i dont get 1 euro/h .. but ppl from PL does, i have my polish contacts which are saying that, so 30 euro's is alot for that guy.. i think.. so maybe he better can buy some normal hs from 5 euro or someting
According to Central Bureau of Statistics the average wage per month is 2500 PLN a month(as of 2004). That's about 12.5 PLN per hour(assuming they're some busy bees and work 50 hours a week to afford expensive headsets), which again is about 3.5 euro per hour.
But I suppose the average week in Poland is 37.5-40 hours as with other countries more or less. So that's about 15.6 PLN per hour which then again is 4.34 euro.
So I guess it is possible that some make 1 euro per hour, but even for a polak that sounds too little.
it all depends on what u expect from a headset and how much u would pay.
If u wanna listen music in good quality, dont take headset, if u wanna paly paly, dont buy expensive one
not really, the sennheiser hd201 is not expensive, and is much better than expensive headsets like a 5hv2.
All headsets are totally overprised cause of their mic or cause they are "made for gamers" which is totally bullshit, they only got a bit more treble, but you can also do that with an equaliser.
Only retards buys headsets that advertises "FOR GAMERS". I'm not saying that there isn't crappy headsets at double of hd201 price, I'm just saying that most of them are better.
The hd201 is not a good headset per say, it's a good headset for it's pricerange, that I agree. But there's a big difference.

I don't know how good those forums are tbh as I'm no audio freak, but seems like you get a general idea by browsing around it.

It's an OK headset, but I'd rather have a pair of Audio Technicas and a table mic or something. :P

So you're saying if you wanna game, you won't benefit and enjoy a good headset? gtfo
enjoy a good headset but not expensive one
