sorry if u read this b4, but someone deleted the journal, i am not trying to sell this, i just want some positive/negative feedback so i can improve it

- team / main news are too small. how many sentences can you enter there, 2 or 3? you need to arouse attention and therefore its better to show more written content and make the news teaser smaller. furthermore you should add the author and release date.
- scene news. do you really need them? its just a waste of time. use headlines linked to external pages or leave it out and put the time into better content about your clan (coverage, articles, news..)
- change "user of the month" to "user of the day or week" or "60 minutes of fame" - one month is just too long and will be ingored quite fast when its always the same person

(i would change more, but its always a question of what you are really planning to do)

thanks for input, i changed some things, i dont want to get rid of scene news because i want the user to access everything on the main page, i tried enlarging the scene news to this size as experiment (check new image) but i also think this is not so nice, i will think of something whilst i sleep :)

yeh i agree in some ways, but the idea is that all the colour comes from the user inputted images (news images, sponsors, header etc) ill try adding more colour other ways tommorow

yes that's true aswell, it's missing the header so a big part of the gfx content but still .. grey is a color that fit evrything ok, but there must be something else at all you know .. i suggest you to start your website using one sweet color and the almighty http://colorblender.com/, believe me you won't regret it

I meant the general layout/theme. Three tables, with the two on either side being smaller than the one in the middle. It's nothing new, so when you ask for a verdict, I would base a 1-10 rating system mainly on originality, rather than functionality.

Websites are all the same these days, you'll succeed way more in web-design if you can come up with something new!

hehe yeh i agree 100% - thats why i just do this for alcohol money and so i improve my design skills in photoshop for future careers :)

would never do web design as a career ONLY and to live from.. too much risk :) just do it when i am not busy

If you can code a website, you can move onto lots of things related to web-design/programming. It's a huge field, with lots of prospects!

if you had prob learning your actual photoshop skills (regardless of 3DSMax + no offence ;) ) i suggest you to wait a lil bit before you start learning how to code (as usual, easy to use, very hard to master) but if you dont know where to start the Zend company (PHP creators) is selling teaching packages for any programming level (from the Zero beginner to the semi-pros/pros) so instead of wasting money in beers, i'd invest a part of the money here

Only 2 things i don't like. for the rest well done.

you can't see the top buttons, no color. Where the **** is the whitespace :P you giving me a text overdose..
