Double Trouble

Got 2 bugs in ET, hope somebody knows what it could be :<

1) FPS lags.
On some servers (90% pub+ettv) i got somekind of fps bug, when i go outside my lag-o-meter goes loco, then when i return inside it goes back to normal.
Weird things is that its only at some servers, e.g. our private server and others work fine for me. screenshots ;

2) sound problem

Still have that sound-bug where my sound changes by itself to really crappy quality, so that i cant even hear where the enemy is coming from. it's only in et, windows & rest still works fine. sometimes it goes back to normal by itself, but mostly i have to close down my et to get it working again.

Thnx for any hints

Sound problems are because of USB headset thats for sure, I still don't know how to fix it. Had that before also!
I had similar lag when I was using wireless

alt + ctrl + del and watch if you have this program in your windows processes RTHDCPL.exe... that might be the reason

i got same fps probs a while ago..change cfg it helped for me..otherwise i dunno :<
ages ago i got some shit soundpack off a tj server which then played when i was ingame which sounded really low qual sound settings, i didnt think it was possible but check if you have any shitty packs dl'd from a server.
I had the same problem, except it was Sheep's config :D

If you use onboard sound: try a different driver. Realtec gives better quality, less fps. Nforce drivers give more performance, but the quality is tad worse.
sorry but i rly have no experience in this what so ever.

Dont I need a realtek or nforce onboard sound thingy, before i install the drivers ?

for what I know, i currently have some sigmatel onboard sound (Dell pc)

if you use onboard sound download 'cpuz' and check the exact type of mobo you got. Next google around and you might find different drivers. Nforce drivers are for nforce mobo's (orly?) but I guess other chipsets also might have their own drivers instead of using the realtec default ones.

UGLY CONFIG OMG MY EYES
Sound is because of usb, had it with my earlier headset, your sound becomes all shattery right?
