I already got:

- a nice case

- DVD burner (S-ATA)

- Liberty Enemax (500 W)

- Nvidia 8800 GT

but I also wanna buy a new CPU, CPU Cooler, Mainboard & RAM,
so my thoughts are:

NOT gigabyte mboard...
get an asus or DFI
for cpu E8500 imo
ram get anything you want

why not gigabyte? I read test results and gigabyte > or at least = asus atm

well, actually im using DFI and never used anything related to asus, but i know their mboards are fine, and i hate gigabyte cause i used to have lots of their hardware and it was all crap...
anyways, imo the best way to find good hardware is to take a certain price range, and check ALL mboards... then choose the best.

agreed, Im not quite up 2 date but I read alot on the p35 mainboards from Gigabyte and their supposabley aint nuthing better out their stability and price wise... so :>

imo get a Gigabyte p35c DS3(R) mobo. Get a R if u need raid shit.
Get a better brand for ur ram. It also depends if u wanna overclock.
CPU is fine imo, u should also consider the Q6600 but i asume uhave already done that.
Afaik the Artic Freezer 7 Pro is a great cpu cooler, idk about that cm thing.

lol'd q6600 sucks :D and why should i buy an older mainboard which doesn't support PCI-E 2.0 ?! and the cpu cooler is the no. 1 @ thg. the ram is good imo but suggest a better one pl0x :p

Dont think pci-e 2.0 will have alot of more performance. I read somewhere it is like 2% better. DOnt pin me on it.

11% faster - np. and the ram won several tests because it's cheap + good to o.c.
