Since et is a very dependent game on your cpu. Is there a program which you can use so that you can set your pc to run et with maximum efficency with your cpu

Tune up utility's 2008, Maxes out ur internet connection wich will INDEED give u stabler ping

Otherwise just defragmentate

good question... + i wanna know why i could play every map (including radar) with 125 FPS stady.. but after i think 2 or more years i can't reach 125..

any things i can do to "fix" it?

** RADEON 9600 SE
** Have perfect connection

U haven't cleaned the dust for 2 years? check your video card's fan. My problem was simular - i had 14-28 fps on goldrush, but after i cleaned it i had 125 again (geforce5900zt)

got the same gfx card. thats prolly cpu getting older problem. i got celeron 2600 and i cant get 40 fps on radar at open field :)

Uniblue 3 in 1 with SpeedUpMyPC + Tune Up Utilities is what I use, pretty good imo.

Load xfire www.xfire.com, join a server through it. Disable in game messenging though. Gives a FPS boost in most games.

Also gameboost (search google) or lazy link http://www.pgware.com/products/gameboost/

that is probably cuse your pc tries to do to much at the same time. For example that windows tries to write alot to hdds+et@high will result in huge lags cuse the bufferts will get overloaded and cant process the data fast enough. (discwriting is rly slow compared to the cpu)

well, one thing that is possible to to calm it down/solve it is to have a windows-installation that only contains windows, setpoint, the all seeing eye (or whatever floats ur boat) and ET. No antivirus and no firewall. :>
