may I ask...

... why my journal got deleted?

it had (ger allowed) in title, there was no flame and no bad mood at all.

besides that it was about poker...

what did I do wrong, cf-police?

still the language is the same :P
Parent
well almost then, it's just all the same

Like some belgians claiming they have a own language while it's just a dialect.
Parent
HI! is like i know you? :D
Parent
engrish plz !
Was ist das ????

You probably said something that an admin disagrees with, it's easier to just hit *delete* instead of coming up with sensible counter-arguments.
I should delete that comment
Parent
asking something about poker... hmm lemme think, yes any admin would disagree!
Parent
Where does it say he asked anything? He might've claimed that poker is gay.
Parent
The journal is deleted so there is no more spot where he asked about poker. But then again, I dont care wether he said poker is gay or poker is awesome or wether he had a legitimate and serious question about the game of poker. Fact is, he wrote the journal in english and put (GER ALLOWED) in the title and that is simply not according to the language rules on CF.
Parent
must be the dutch revenge for all lost soccer matches! xD
Because writing a journal in english and putting (GER ALLOWED) in the title is not allowed.

If your journal had been written in the german language, I bet it would not be deleted.
where is the sense behind that if I may ask?
Parent
The language rule is very simple. If your journal is in a certain language then you can put (LANGUAGE) in the title so that ppl know upfront it's in a certain language and if they are allowed to post comments in that language as well. This rule applies only to journals.

That is the rule that is given. If you fail to see that writing a journal in english and putting (GER ALLOWED) in the title is not according to those set rules, then I can't really help you.

You may find the rule itself senseless and to some degree I agree with you on that one. Doesn't change the fact that it's still the set rule and thus will be enforced.
Parent
nah I don't find the rule senseless and I do understand it. a few months ago everybody was whining about all the dutch and german journals and comments, that's why the language rule was introduced. I just can't see why it's a problem to write a journal in english and put a (language) tag behind it so people know that there's sth in a foreign language (and that applies to the whole journal, but still there can be english [imo]). but thank you for your answer.
Parent
Because then it would be the same mess as it was before.
Parent
ok, i shouldnt ask foreign people to help me.

great logic.

sorry, I think this rule is just unnecessary.

it doesn't make it better or worse, it's just irreleveant.
Parent
Quoteok, i shouldnt ask foreign people to help me.

great logic.

If you want to talk about logic, then plz give a better example than this one.

and like I said over and over and over and oooover again, the language rule is not mine, I just enforce it.
