ello!
i've been trying to install and play ET on my laptop the past 45 minutes but unfortunately to no avail ( 8-) )
anyway, i get either "wrong o/s privileges" (or smth) or "game integrity 20006" (or smth).
I've been searching around google and this site. I came across http://www.xfire.be/?x=tutorial&mode=item&id=14 which will probably be the solution to my problem but i cant find the "to run older programms under windows vista" option... if i go to my control panel all i can choose from is either programs and features or default programs. both the screens that pop up under those do not show any such option as mentioned above.
Untill now i've tried to go to my ET.exe properties and changed run this blabla for windows server 2003 SP1 and run this program as admin. also, i gave every user full control.
Does anyone have any suggestions. Perhaps someone can tell me how to find the "run older programms under windows vista" thing? :(

Also make sure you update PB with pbsetup

pbweb most likely wont work in vista
Trust me , use pbsetup
Someone I know also had to update pb , it didnt work with pbweb , so someone send him his pbfolder and he still got kicked

+giving et admin rights make my side DA buttons fail to work
however, vid_restart makes the game crash :DDD
Also I dont seem to have this vid_restart problem
(nvidia drivers bug with vista and ET ?)
PS: I dont have a Server 2k3 option?
got quite a new drivers, all versions had the same problem....
and about PS:
Disabling it ,wont give you these pop-ups every time you start something up
Then there is a line with User Account Control
Click on it , uncheck Enable User Account Control
Press ok , then a pop-up will come up if you want to reboot , close all your programs and then pres yes
