hi TosspoT
well i had it too.. but my laptop couldnt find my graphic card too, eventhough i had the right drivers.. but i have no clue what to do :s
U can't drive :<
HD Audio Bus driver has to be installed before installing sound drivers nowadays, thats your culprit!

Either google "KB888111" or get the file off of Realtek`s HD Audio drivers, install it and then install Dell`s SigmaTel drivers.
Yeah, run cpuz > check type of mobo > install mobo drivers

Remember you having a similar problem some time ago ;)

Me? Problem? Never :P

Anyway, since Toss is talking about a laptop, the "yeah, search mobo drivers" thing is a bit different. You search drivers by your laptop model not motherboard name/model.

My Dell and other Dells besides that have SigmaTel audio and its adjustment features (there aren't any besides volume) suck hard :)

I was replying to you but referring to tosspot :P And tbh it doesnt matter if you use dell site or mobo drivers, both should do fine.

100% correct, its not included in SP3

http://www.techarp.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=490 <-- fixed it.

Thanks for your help :)

same thing like with AC 889

You're mentioned in a dutch newspaper!!!!!!!!!!111
you have to ask it nicely
you need the chipset drivers for motherbaord!
exactly, since the audiocard is most likely on board.
