need help from people all over UK

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh need help >.<

ok now here's my problem:

For my "Abitur" ( A Levels ) I have to do a so called "Facharbeit". The "Facharbeit" has to be about something typically english or something that happens/happened in the United Kingdom. It has to be around 10-12 pages so I want YOU to help me with finding an interesting topic about which I can write approximately 10 pages or more :(
Help plx and to all of you who think LOLOLO XFIRE SIRIOUZ JOURNAL, I have to say that the math journals were surprisingly effective..

I need examples >.< and i mean i can't write about fish n chips .. ok i mean i actually could write about it but it wouldn't even come near the 10 pages :F London, wales etc is too big ~~ my teacher doesn't acknowledge those , as she calls them , huge categories ~~

or try to present the topic "english - the world language"

so you can list many countries in which english is first language..
and then try to analyze again ^^

I guess you could possibly look at all the macro-economic objectives, how they have been achieved by UK government + Bank of England and then tie it into how it may contribute to us going into recession or prevent us from escaping one.

He wanted something to write about, there's plenty of stereotypical newspapers that cover news about black crime.
There's been quite a few killings, knife crimes and bullying that's been brought up in the news over the past few years.
Not that I would write about it myself :P
