CPU CORE 2 QUAD Q6600
800MHZ 2048MB MEMORY
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GT/GTS 512MB (or 256mb :s dono yet)
HARDDISCK 320GB

worth it? i can get better settings? cheap? expensive? :P

1st!

EDiT: Take 8800 GT whit 512 its better and cheaper that GTS , rest is very good :)

GT is not faster than 800GTS 512MB. The GTS is on par with 8800gtx



shit mobo, get a gigabyte / asus / msi p35 mb, like ga-p35-ds3r or l
or asus p5k

Q6600 sucks. better wait for the new ² quad cpu's from intel. and mainboards with x38 chip or better makes your gfx card 10 % faster

not rly.. if you got a 8800 with the new chip or you are planning to buy one then go for x38 or better mainboards. if you still want to use an old gfx card and dont want to buy a new one then go for a p35 mainboard

Yeah, btw don't listen to people telling you to go for Dual Core.

Quad Core = More future proof than Duel. :)

Because it works the same / better than the Quads at the moment, but there aren't very many games around that support quad at the moment, so games are only using 2 of the 4 cores. ;)

When Quad Core supported titles come around, the Q66 will obliterate dual cores. :D

- 800MHZ 2048MB MEMORY - not enough info
- difference between 320GB - 500GB is just 30€ afaik
- take 8800GT, GTS is a bit faster but its still more smart to take GT
- never heard for mainboard, no time to check it
- i would recommend you E8400, it is dualcore, cheaper and very fast but still not that fast as Q6600. It quite enough and you can overclock it well.

edit: fucking cheap in israel ffs :/

in all games is q6600 < E8400

its better to take the q6600 if you wanna render movies and stuff..

so for gaming and programing q6600 would be cool? look, i dont want to have super uber 1337 wtf 999 fps in games, i just need a decent pc with that kind of cost that will last me few years with decent fps :P

q6600 is quad-core processor. That mean that one proc is working on four different processor kernels. e8400 is dual-core processor.That mean that one proc is working on two different proc kernels. conclusion: quad-core is working faster since it has more kernels but it costs more than dual-core which could be overclocked to almost same speed as q6600 but i bet you don't wan't to OC it. But even on not overclocked level proc is working on great speed as far as i saw from reviews test etc..

haha that explains the price. Marketing is pretty amazing nowadays. I recommend you to not buy this kind of ram. As i said, take a bit lower proc and take better ram with decent latencies.

different mobo wouldn't be that bad for future since this can't support more than 800mhz ram but if u need PC for this prize that should be ok. Just swith processor to get a bit money which u need to assign in in better ram (should be Kingston, Crucial, Geil, OCZ, Teamgrouop smtn like that)

AMD Phenom 9500 is already mutch faster then INTEL Q6600. For a little bit more you can get a 9600 wich is faster.. and then comes the Q6750.

Phenom CPU's are like ~200 euro
