repost: hw problem (dutch)

I just assembled my new PC, connected every freeking cable.. When I try to boot I get a black screen. All the fans are working, all the LED's are burning..Already tried switching gfx card + placed both RAM thingies into another bank. What could be the cause of this problem..?

Gigabyte P35-DS3R
Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz
ATI Sapphire HD3850
Seagate 500GIG
OCZ StealthXstream PSU (600W)
OCZ 2048MB DDR2 RAM PC6400 (kit of 2)

Dont even think about opening your mounth if you live in a world where you have 2000Ghz CPU's and 40GB RAM chips.

1. Ik ben ne pro
2. Jong geleerd is oud gedaan + Al doende leert men
3. Heb alle parts bij pc winkel X besteld maar de CPU bij pc winkel Y. Aangezien pc winkel X/Y enkel volledige systemen assembleert was da geen optie

mjah kweeni, ge moet da gewoon zegge, ja ik heb da onderdeel daar gekocht omdat jullie da ni hebbe :/ ge hebt uiteindelijk keiveel geld daar uitgegeven dus ze verdienden geld aan u.. as ze u pc dan mogen ineen steken, dan verdienen ze nog is geld aan u e :p dus kweetni, kzou da gwn vragen/doen

Die manne vragen exuberante prijzen qua werkuren etc. Random voorbeeld: een oude doos die nen pc koopt om op seniorennet te surfen krijgt een virus. Die draagt da binne in de PC winkel en die pipo's vragen 100 (+) EUR voor ne format

jah idd, de jerre heeft zen pc is laten formateren voor 50€ :D maja kweeni, u pc kost mss 1500€. ofda ge daar nu 100€ meer voor betaald voor da samenstellen is ni zoveel he en dan zijde zeker dat et in orde is e

2 cables from power supply are going into mainboard, third is for graphic card for giving it more energy. Well at least that was our reason

I connected the 24 PIN psu cable (close to some IDE slots) + the 12V ATX cable next to your psu + plugged in PCI-E 1 into gfx card

try resetting the bios ! or maybe the jumper on bios is in park position. Some mobos are shipped like that!

yes 3 pins near bios normally 1+2 normal 2+3 reset. small back jumper connects the pins. Some flashy mobos like dfi come with an easy click switch on the board! To reset put jumper on pins 1+3 and power on. Then unpower replace on 1+2 and try again! worth a shot mine sometimes comes up black screen until i do it if i have added new hardware. Check manual to confirm correct pins :D

probably hidden by your gfx card! If you have 2 gfx cards or one with a large cooler it will be hidden beneath. google is my friend!

k i found it.. but the only thing you can do is clear your bios.. not reset it.. so......... ?? :(

yeah some only have 2 pins, it only clears the settings it doesnt kill it dont worry!
