xp gamers edition .... keyboard

i installed, wanted to format anyway. well, its ok BUT: english keyboard, fucking annoying. tried to fix via control panel/languages, but its only the us one installed. (how unexpected...)
so does someone know another way to get german keyboardsettings back? via drivers, patches, tools? -.-

actually go back to the CP / regional and languages settings
then go to the Languages tab, click "Details.."
then press Add, choose country / layout, press ok
choose the default layout to be the one you just added

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Regional...options, Languages, Details, Settings, Add. Set Input Language to German

only works if multiple versions of keyboard are available...

imo find your keyboard in regedit and change the default value to the german preset... should work. you'll have to find the number though but google will find it fast enough .

You can use Microsoft keyboard layout creator to make yourself your keyboard's layout, though it's (very?) boring and has few bugs.

If anyone knows where to dl those layouts btw ....
