So hello guys, I just came back from Scotland, Edinburgh, 5 hours ago. Everything was real cool but I experienced some things that were in my opinion, worth to tell you.
The trip to Edinburgh took really long because the ferry we went with was delayed and we went off to newcastle 3 hours later. Eventhough we had a real cool night in the nightclub etc.
The following days in edinburgh were real nice. The city was, against my thoughts, quite small but well organised in terms of public transport such as the buses, and the footpaths. Everything was ca. ~30 min walking away from each other and that was real cool.
We went to various things and eventually to the cinema to see the incredibly boring movie "Jumper" and later on we caught up, not on purpose though, with this Zack Efron from The high school musical. The girl that sings the best in that show was there as well (the black one).
We went to a ghost tour as well, which was boring as hell. Some of the stories were not even significant of having even happened and that made it even worse.
Our way back to holland was dramatically. We reached the ferry at around 16:00 at friday and we had been told that the boat was cancelled because the ferry was released from the bolders on the side, and it smacked up to an oil platform for about 20 minutes. This eventuated in gaps in the front of the boat and therefore we were not able to go out to Holland, Ijmuiden.
We set back to the Menzies hotel somewhere at the edge of newcastle and that was real good. The food was better than it was in our Hostel and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Though I disliked the extra day in some way.
So, in the end everything went well since the boat organisation (dfds seaways) had brought in a replacing boat. We had a cabin with sea view, which was real enjoyable.
So that was my trip to Edinburgh, the city is was real cool and definately worth to go to.
